Norcal Wins Men’s LW8+ National Championship at 2015 USRowing Youth Invitational; Third Title in Three Years

The Norcal Lightweight Men’s Eight took the national title in a commanding fashion, dominating through the heats and semi-finals to win by a full boat length in a blistering time of 6:02. Coxswain Thomas Fuller, Stroke Misha Hindery, and crew members Marcelo Buxton, Chris Skokowski, Jonathan Cogan, Colley Loum, Jackson Wood, Phoenix Jarrell-Desch, and bow Ian O’Connor comprised the crew. For Hindry, Skokowski, and Buxton, this is their second national championship, having won the Lightweight Men’s Four the year previous. Katy Kelly and Makayla Karr-Warner won the Lightweight Womens 2x title in 2013.

Norcal makes it three in a row.
