The Boathouse

The Boathouse

Norcal Crew rows out of the Bair Island Aquatic Center at the Port of Redwood City. The aquatic center is a city-owned community organization that houses many rowing and paddling programs for juniors and adults. Some of the other rowing programs at the boathouse include the BIAC advanced, intermediate, and novice crews for adults, and the Serra High School junior rowing program.

Beauty on the Bay

“Beauty on the Bay” is an informational video from 2011 about the Bair Island Aquatic Center that describes the pleasures and healthful benefits of various types of rowing. The video has footage of in and around the boathouse and features Norcal athletes as well as BIAC adult rowing participants.
